Sipping Butterbeer at Three Broomsticks, Harry Potter World

Continuing our Hogsmeade adventure at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood, we headed into the Three Broomsticks restaurant for a hearty British lunch and a sip of cold butterbeer.

There they are, the three broomsticks!

Our eyes immediately went up to the impressive vaulted ceilings of this rustic wooden tavern, revealing a complex series of catwalks and hidden artifacts above.
Our main priority - trying a taste of Harry, Ron and Hermione's favorite Hogsmeade drink; a sparkling mug of butterbeer. The cream soda base is not overly sweet, but oh boy, the butterscotch whipped cream topping sure is! We highly recommend this sensational dessert. Get ready for a sugar rush of the best sort.
If you can't get to Harry Potter World anytime soon, here is a recipe for making butterbeer at home.

Before the extreme sugar could do us in, we made sure to fill our bellies with some old-fashioned British nutrition by way of rotisserie chicken, herbed potatoes and corn on the cob. The flavors were on point and the veggies, perfectly tender.
Other main course options include ample platters of Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie, and giant Smoked Turkey Legs.
