Fall Flavors: Indulging in Apple Orchard Treats

Fall activities like apple picking and pumpkin patches are fun in themselves, but you better believe we visited Jonamac Apple Orchard for the amazing treats!

First, we ventured into the Cider House for a flight of apple wines and ciders, custom pressed and fermented in the orchard with the freshest apples.

We tried these apple wines:
- Pumpkin Apple
- Autumn Harvest
- Red Barn Blush
- Caramel Apple
And these ciders:
- Brushfire Cider
- Dry Hopped Cider
- Traditional Cider
- Honeycrisp Cider

Boozy and seasonally-flavored, the drinks had intriguing names...but were not great. However, we had fun rating the flavors! Some were sweet, some were spicy, some could have powered the farm tractor.
We decided maybe fruit wines were not for us, and remembered Moira Rose's fruit wine commercial in Schitt's Creek.

Trying the kettle corn was a must; we smelled those carmely aromas from the entrance gate.

This little kid had the right idea with his own cinnamon apple cider donut caramel sundae! I told my mom and Brandon that I would share a sundae with them and they just laughed, so we each bought one.

Everything in the main kitchen shop looked mouth watering, like these seasonal fudge blocks in the flavors caramel walnut, pumpkin pie pecan, and amaretto chocolate swirl.
