Wand Shopping at Ollivanders, Harry Potter World

All aboard the Hogwarts Express!
We're headed to an exciting afternoon in Hogsmeade, just a stone's throw away from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The conductor helped us with our bags on Platform 9 3/4.

First things first, we need to visit Ollivanders Wand Shop to pick out our very own wands...or should we say, to be picked by our wands.

Inside Mr. Garrick Ollivander's shop is a mystical, celestial environment, piled high with wand boxes on topsy-turvy shelves, wherever they'll fit.

Let's take a moment to read about the various wand wood types available for purchase, including Oak, Holly, Hazel, Vine, Ivy, Reed, Elder, Birch, Bowan, Ash, Alder, Willow, and Hawthorn.
Many other wood types exist for wand making, listed here by Ollivander himself, widely considered the best wandmaker in the world.

Maybe I'll choose the Elder Wand, previously owned by Gellert Grindelwald. I like the repeating round details seen at the bottom here. A very handsome wand.
So many to choose from. Which wand would you pick?

With our new wands in hand, let's continue our tour of Hogsmeade in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood:
